Who is Keith Haring?
Along with Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring is considered to be one of the leading artists of the 80’s American modern art. Haring became internationally renowned through his art exhibitions and various projects throughout the decade. In 1987, he was diagnosed with AIDS; soon after, he established the Keith Haring Foundation. With the foundation established, Haring continued to be actively involved in HIV/AIDS related causes through creating art—until his last breath at the age of 31, in 1990.
Nakamura Keith Haring Collection Museum Shop
As a continuation of his public art project, Subway Drawings, in 1986, based on his principle belief—art is for everyone—Haring launched Pop Shop where anyone can purchase original items that he designed. Our museum shop is a reincarnation of his Pop Shop, where we offer numerous Keith Haring goods, many of them limited editions, from all over the world.
